Local State ConditionsDuring the time span of 1 year state usage of natural gas took a roller coaster route as it increased for a short period of time during the month of July and subsided back to normal usage in January the following year. As shown in the graph in the year 2012 natural gas usage remained just above 5,000 megawatt hours without fluctuations. The demand for natural gas remained equally above with the demand for imported electricity sources.

Consumption comparisonsAs evidenced in the graphs to the right natural gas consumption for both countries decreased significantly in this recent year. However U.S. consumption was still dramatically higher than japan and south korea maintaining total consumption of 60 billion cubic feet per day while the other countries remained at both 6.0 billion cubic feet and 2.0 cubic feet per day.

Natural Gas resources Dimming?
After conducting all the research i thought possible there was one thing that actually was not that suprising to hear about. Natural gas resources seem to be dimming and lessening therefore if we continue to use as much as we do now in little less than 70 years we will have no more. As i read further i started to think that maybe this isnt such a bad thing . If natural gas resources are lost due to over use then maybe others will realize that an alternative resources must be used. sources
